Jeez I’m glad mom didn’t dress like the pink lady above!
Happy Mother’s day to all the mom’s out there! And of course a special Happy Mother’s Day to my mom as well! I LOVE YOU!
Have a wonderful Monday everyone.
P.S Yes I’m keeping the party banner up, it just puts me in a good mood to see those guys celebrating
Cab charge to the store: $10.00
Mother’s day Gift: $50.00
Giving the gift to the maid, instead of your mom: Priceless
Happy Mother’s day dear mothers out there
HAH! Love this comment!
I love that you addressed this in your blog today! It is sad that many moms just thrust their kids at the house-help to raise for them.
That maid has wicked eyes too !
Very smart. Thanks for pointing out the issue…. I mean, really, as adverisers why do we bother advertise Ariel and Persil in Arabic?.. Let me recap: A mother takes care of the children emotionally and on the nutrition level, she picks kids up from the school bus, comforts them when in need, prepare deserts for them and their friends…. And is paid on average 100 Dollars a month….
Hope to see you the next Mommy inshallah:)
Is this supposed to be funny? Who are these two ladies? Is one the mom and the other not? Very confusing.
Hi Dale. The situation above is a commentary on Lebanese society whereby the current trend is women hiring nannies from different countries to take care of their children and so they can go off and get their nails or hair or whatever done. At the end of the day the children don’t know who their parents are!
the motherly figure deserves the gifts. I loved the msg.
Perfect. Just perfect. I like how you were able to draw attention to an issue within an issue. Brilliant!
Again, This is the whole world that is represented here. Seems a lot of people are willing to turn their kids over to someone else’s care.
