Other ways to accelerate this process of lowering their requirements (in order of increasing extremeness):

1) Say you want to focus on your career for AT LEAST X years before considering marriage
2) Say you think marriage and having kids is stupid and you’re just not interested
3) “Confess” that you’re gay, and if necessary pay / ask someone to pose as your “partner”
