Its quite similar to comedy shows in Pakistan. (Yes, We can laugh as well).
Regarding AYR, yesterday one of my sudanese collegue told me that sexual jokes are quite common on lebanese MTV (i didn’t believed him).
However, after seeing your comic, now i believe that he was right.
Alas! i can’t understand arabic.

You’ve hit on the heart of the comedy problem. Comedy is best when people can relate to it, but the number one rule is it has to be a surprise. If people know the punchline ahead of time, there’s yawning instead of laughter.

Very true, and I have no problem with laughing at ourselves (i’m an example of that). And I love comedy shows! But it would be nice if these comedy shows can spice things up with something different.
