If the US had a real Participation rate under 10% (which is the way real economists and businesses look at unemployment #s) you would be much more likely to receive a visa for the US and other Western countries. I have an MBA with a focus on Economics and the problem with the world economy right now is Supply Side Economics, there is an imbalance in the Supply/Demand Equation. Not enough Demand for the products that are being produced, Demand is mostly equal to employee wages (i.e. global minimum wage).
