I remember when my Dad used to wake my Mom up to help her get ready for work, he would call her “honey,” “baby doll,” “sugar,” “sugar babe,” “sweetheart,” all the other endearments he could think of in order to wake her up.

Probably the funniest endearment I’ve heard anyone use is one my Dad used for everybody, including us kids (and I’ve heard it was used in my friend’s household, too when she grew up) is “sugar-boogar”!
