I think Hicham may be unfamiliar with the subjunctive mood in English.
On another note, this reminds me of a driving holiday in Italy back in the ’90s. My father stopped at a zebra crossing in Rome, and the pedestrian took offence!
Hehe I think so too regarding the use of “were”. I remember my English teacher from school always stressing that we use the word “were” when we say “I wish”.
I’ve also heard that Italians were just as bad as Lebanese when it comes to driving!
I’m a foreigner, well I’m English, and this is sooo true. Fabulous drawings, I cant even draw a circle. I think there a couple of other important things that should be shown, motorcycles going the wrong way, little motor scooters with Mum, Dad and the five kids on it, (Dad wears the helmet because he’s driving), people driving with either their baby or their dog on their lap, (obviously both lives have the same value) and lastly, buses full up and still stopping to pick p more passengers. This a great site and thanks so much for the entertainment.
Here in Merica doing most of these things would get you dragged out of your car and beat with night sticks, unless your rich then you can do whatever you want.
Lovely!!! …
But to be fair our roads come with free entertainment.. a.k.a The DJ wanna be with the loud Ali Deek songs!
Be careful, don’t insult Ali Deek fans! They might dabke-stomp you to death!
I guess use of the Inferno Van is called for then? It’s like the A-Team van, but with more mass to win fights…
The A team would blend right in!
Near to the white car going reverse you wrote “I wish I were joking”
And…?

This one really made me laugh
I will never complain again about traffic in my city.
Aww well that makes me so sad about our traffic now! Hehe
What’s that “lane” thing you keep mentioning?
Sorry you’re right. Not many Lebanese have ever “seen” lanes hehe.
I liked the “decoration”
They’re useful during Christmas!
All that’s missing is Frogger.
Trust me there are plenty of those. There are walkway bridges ABOVE the highways, and yet no one uses them and just cross entire highways!
“Highway Entrepreneurs” is my favorite.
Haha thank you! My favorite as well!
All you describe Sareen, started in 1958…
I took part in it! mea culpa.
Et tu, Brute? Hehe
Wow. Sounds like freeway driving in Phoenix.
I’m kinda glad we’re not the only ones hogging all the madness.
Awesome!!!
Thank you!
I shall return to Beirut once they have install a lollypop lady in Verdun st.!!!!!!
There probably is one already! I know there’s chewing gum sales representatives.
that should have been installed. Sorry.
Sareen!!!

Heehee at least we can laugh at ourselves. Thank you Siroun!
