You’ve reminded me of something Jimmy Carr said a few years ago: (on a crowded bus) “I’d rather see a pregnant woman standing, than a fat woman crying.”
hahahaha reminds me when i was 15 i was a bloated teen and one woman starting talking to my belly -_-
reaction to her was: umm lady, i’m FAT not pregnant! thank you!
Is this why they call you Fatty-ma? Haha just kidding. It’s really ridiculous how some people react. But I still don’t understand why is it do touchy for pregnant women go talk aboug the baby :p
“Eum.. doctor, why are there strangers in the delivery room ?”
Seriously though.. I am so worried about guessing wrong that I wait until the girl is almost ready to deliver to “notice” she’s pregnant.. Could you gals hang a sign when you’re pregnant.. like “Baby on board” or something ? That would save us guys so much anxiety
I once got a chair for a woman/friend, at a conference, to sit down, because I thought she was pregnant, then I asked her, “so how many weeks now”, and she, looking shocked, said: “oh, you thought I was pregnant? Nooo! damn! I shouldn’t eat malfouf, ever!!!”. Well you can imagine the embarrassment.
Reminds me of a scene in a movie:
- “Oh wow mam, when are you due?”
- “I am a man.”
Haha I just remembered something similar in an episode of “Mad about you”!

She’s not pregnant. She’s just swelling up with anger from people asking about her “baby”.
Great comic, btw. I love the expressions in this one.
Hahaha!
And thank you Justin! I’m kinda proud of the expressions and the drawing of the hands! Thanks for noticing!
what is even more frustrating is when people think you are NOT pregnant, when you actually are…
“Oh my God..look at her, she’s SO fat!”

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait a minute! Why r they in the delivery room! Unless she is their alternative mother or something, lol
But even then, it doesn’t make sense because they both would KNOW when & if she is pregnant

Seems there is NO right time to pop such question indeed!
Great work Sareen. I loved #3 , the expression is neatly done!
Never ever ever. Yes, that is the right time.
