I know I know I know, before I start getting comments I understand we have to be positive with the new president and prime minister (especially with an empty presidential seat for more than 2 years). I really do. But I’m just saying can we stop with the dancing in the streets and the “Zajal” on t.vs till we really see a difference?
Youre so right. We lebanese simply are not willing to learn.
Its the same exact scenario for the previous presidents and at the end we end up being scre*** every darn time.
Why is the party going? Just because one guy was stubborn enough to ignore the opinion of more than half the population who dont want him!! yey for ussss so lucky. lets do a recap in one year on good things where before we had this or any president of the current political figures.
I was thinking the same. I want to be positive with the new President and Government but I am afraid people are exaggerating with their cheering before any change happens. Problem is the more they cheer, the higher the expectations and then more disappointment if all this is another fiasco.
Good luck. That is all one can say; I just wish you, all, do not miss the vacant status anymore.
Things on the ground, without political fiascos and empty, sonorous, promises [I so wish that happens in my country too]
Just a small point: Immigration is when you come here from somewhere else, emigration is when leave here to go somewhere else. So that guy in Lebanon would be emigrating to Canada, but when gets to Canada, he would be immigrating from Lebanon.
Yeah I know i realized my typo after I posted the comic. Thanks though!
