Happy Halloween everyone!

P.S a small explanation about St. Barbara’s day. Every year on December 4th we celebrate St Barbara’s day which is a religious holiday which revolved around a young girl, Barbara, who was born into a pagan family but secretly became a Christian. According to Lebanese beliefs, she escaped from her family and disguised herself in order to escape capture. Hence, every year, children in Lebanon wear costumes and go around “trick or treating” or asking for money or candy door to door.  Traditionally people would eat cooked barley covered in raisins, walnuts, sugar, and cinnamon. It’s really yummy!
